Are free zone companies exempt from corporate tax?
Not automatically. Some qualifying companies get 0% on their qualifying income under specific conditions, and anything else may be subject to 9%. We review your case.
When must I register for VAT?
When taxable supplies exceed AED 375,000 in 12 months, and voluntary registration is possible from AED 187,500.
Do I need an accountant from the start?
Yes, preferably: regular books from day one make returns easier and protect you from penalties.
Can registration be done without being present?
Registration is electronic and we handle it on your behalf under a power of attorney or suitable authorisation.
